Definitely need to get this beauty airworthy. There are few finer sights and sounds in aviation than a Gloster Meteor in flight. We are very lucky over here to have four examples of the type airworthy and it is always a great pleasure to see any of them. I was even lucky enough around a decade ago to see a Meteor F.8 variant fly at Duxford, the only airworthy example of a single seat fighter variant in the world. Sadly for us over here it was sold to the Tamora Museum in Australia so I only got to see her a few times. What an aircraft she was though. These two are still beautys though, [link] [link]

Lets hope someday this F.4 does see air under her tires once more. We need more examples of these early jet fighters in the air.
