Unedited Starfighter by Valder137 Unedited Starfighter by Valder137
The CF-104D caught during her high speed pass.  Only thing I've done to this image is change it from RAW to JPEG form.  Any of the usual gang have any thoughts??

The pic looks very sharp. Everything is delineated extremely cleanly and shows the form of the F-104 wonderfully. If you have specific critiques or questions regarding specific of the pic, ask. To me, it's really sharp considering the blue and grays of the aircraft itself raise photographic issues. You were lucky to see them in an air show, from reading, they've scaled back their actual show appearances.

A fellow I knew and unfortunately haven't kept in touch with knew Tom Delashaw who flew with them before he was killed in a Hawker Hunter crash and had a chance to fly in the 2-seater with Tom- It was an absolute thrill for him. Tom's death really also upset him- kind of like finding out there was no Santa Claus.

Yeah, I talk to Rick (Lead pilot) a lot.  They do more NASA work now than airshows

That's tragic :(
